Security Research Laboratory

Aim

To identify and offer solutions to current and emerging threats to the security of individuals, communities and states.

Objectives

  • Equipping key stakeholders, including policymakers, with multi-dimensional research and advisory support necessary to develop informed, coherent and integrated policies and practices that tackle a diverse range of insecurities;
  • Promoting and mediating dialogue among governmental institutions, international, regional and national organizations and civil society with the aim to address the threats to security with comprehensive, multi-sectoral and collaborative solutions;
  • Raising social awareness of the general public and professionals working on human and state security issues through education and training services.
