Erasmus+ traineeship (incoming)

Information for Erasmus+ incoming trainees

Motivated incoming students may undertake a traineeship at the Mykolas Romeris University only under Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme.

In order to come to the Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) as an Erasmus+ trainee, students have to be chosen to participate in the Erasmus+ Traineeship Programme by their home university.

Students who want to undertake a Traineeship at Mykolas Romeris University must send  their CV (Curriculum Vitae) together with Motivation Letter to International Office by traineeships@mruni.eu 

CV (Curriculum Vitae) must present key facts about candidate and  his/her educational background, professional experience,  skills, other important information.

Motivation Letter must clearly explain why would candidate want to undertake Traineeship at Mykolas Romeris University. A list of MRU Academic departments and institutes can be found here. A list of MRU Laboratories can be found here.

CV and Motivation Letter will be sent to the departments of Mykolas Romeris University. If  MRU department is able to offer a traineeship place for the candidate, he/she will be introduced to possible tasks and objectives of the traineeship offered by department at MRU and informed about  application procedure.

General information on the procedure of applying for Traineeship placement will be provided by the International Office to candidate individually by e-mail.

Procedure for incoming for Traineeship

1- step is application– as soon as candidate is selected and Traineeship mentor is appointed student is informed and invited to fill in application.  Since at the moment our application system for incoming for traineeship is under installation process, we kindly ask invited candidates to  fill data template (template is sent to students email). With this data student must send a copy of passport.

2- step- acceptance letter. As soon as we receive more info about invited candidate,we issue an acceptance letter.

3- step – setting the traineeship programme – We seek to sign three partial Learning Agreement for traineeship with incoming student, his/her home university and MRU. If your University is using set template – you are welcome to use template established by your home university.   if it is acceptable we  offer our template of Learning Agreement for traineeship. With the help of Learning Agreement for traineeship students arranges the content of traineeship with appointed MRU mentor and students coordinators/supervisors at home university. 

4 -step final matriculation – After final Learning Agreement for traineeship is set by all three parties, MRU prepares Rectors decree regarding matriculation of student. When  Rectors decree is signed student is provided with link to  create users account with MRU login which will be useful for activities when arrived and for securing accommodation.

6 -step receiving Mediation No. If mediation for VISA needed candidates informs and carefully reads info on Visas and Residence Permit
