MRU Library invites you to a presentation of prof. Arnaud Parent's book „Gyvenimas, paaukotas žmonėms ir mokslui“ (A Life Devoted to People and Science), taking place on April 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM in the Longish Reading Room.
The event will present Jean-Emmanuel Gilibert, a pioneer of Lithuanian flora research and author of Flora Lituanica. Prof. Dr. Arnaud Parent will share insights and answer questions. Guests are invited to visit an exhibition, enjoy live Baroque music, have coffee, and purchase the book.
The event is open to the academic community and all interested in history, science, and culture. The event will be held in Lithuanian.
