International Day of Play
MRU Library
People have been playing games throughout the whole history of humanity. Games are not only for children, and teenagers who spend hours in front of screens are not only straining their eyes but also creating their own separate civilizations. Books about games can help us better understand the magical world of play. We especially recommend the books available through our subscribed databases Video Game Characters and Transmedia Storytelling and Attitudes of Play.
On International Day of Play – June 11 – let’s meet around the board game table. At 12:00 p.m. we invite you to try Set, Trio Vision, Dixit, Azul, Splendor, and Port Royal. Let’s never stop playing!!!
