International Day of Play

People have been playing games throughout human history. Games are not only for children, and teenagers who spend hours in front of screens are not only straining their eyes but also creating their own virtual worlds. Books about games can help us better understand the magical world of play. We especially recommend books available through our subscribed databases, such as Video Game Characters and Transmedia Storytelling and Attitudes of Play.
On the International Day of Play – June 11 – let’s meet around the board game table. At 12:00 p.m. we invite you to try Set, Trio Vision, Dixit, Azul, Splendor, and Port Royal. Let’s never stop playing!!!
