    New Crop of International Erasmus+ Students Arrives from Jan. 22nd

    From Jan. 23rd, 2018, a new crop of Erasmus+ and international students arrive at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) to begin Welcome Week events. During the spring semester there will be 110 new exchange student from 30 different countries. ESN MRU Vilnius mentors are helping organize the week-long Welcome Events and greet students.

    Vice-Rector Dr. Žalėnienė Welcomed International Students

    Jan. 23rd, 2017, MRU Vice-Rector for Education and Research Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė welcomed about 120 new Erasmus+ and international exchange students telling them that they will be the University's Ambassadors. "We are very internationallty oriented," the Vice-Rector said in her Welcome Speech. She encouraged students, when not immersed in studies, to find time to take part in extracurricular cultural activities, explore Vilnius.

    Dec. 13th, 2017, in MRU's II wing's foyer on the 2nd floor, a Christmas Fair was held with cakes and cookies for sale. All proceeds will go to stray dog helpers, "Dogspotas." In the Rotunda Hall, students auctioned off their works of art.

    Dec. 4th, 2017, Seimas member and former Premier Algirdas Butkevičius presented a lecture at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) to students of the Public Governance Faculty.  During the lecture, "Public Governance Problems in Lithuania," Butkevičius discussed the importance of strategy, knowledge and information. He said, "if you don't have a strategy, you don't have a future."
