Conference: Lithuania's-Poland's Academic Cooperation Perspectives

dsc0010 Dec. 13th, 9:30 a.m. in MRU's II-230 aud., an international conference, "Lithuania's-Poland's Academic Cooperation History & Perspectives," will be held. The conference is due to present the academic community's viewpoint on relations between the two countries, their development and how they can form closer relations, despite political and other misunderstandings.

The first conference lecture will be delivered by MRU Political Sciences Dept. Assoc. Prof. Ramūnas Trimakas and MRU Assoc. Prof. Gediminas Kazėnas (of the same Dept.) on "Historical Memory Factors in Lithuanian-Polish Relations."

Other presentations will be given by Lithuanian weekly Balsas.lt Editor Tomas Čyvas, Wroclaw University Prof. Jacek Sroka and Cracow's Jagiellonian University Assoc. Prof. Katarzyna Korzeniewska-Wolek.
