    April 15th,  the new Mykolas Romeris and Korea's Dongseo University (DSU) joint double diploma Bachelor's Degree programme, "Informatics and Digital Contents" was accredited for a 5-year period by the Centre for Quality Assessment in Higher Education (SKVC). MRU's Social Technologies Faculty's Institute of Digital Technologies prepared the new programme.

  • Asian & European Univ Agree to Create Knowledge Consortium

    April 15th, representatives from 7 European and Asian Universities approved the creation of a new Knowledge Consortium: Social Technologies for Smart and Inclusive Society (SOCTECH) by e-signature. The event included the burying of a virtual capsule and the start of the building of a Social Technologies international mobile centre. Many dignitaries, Seimas parliament members and others attended the ceremony.

    April 11th, Anastassios Bougas, PhD, for many years with the European Commission's DG for Regional Policy, had nothing but praise for the infrastructure at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) and the "global approach" with so many academics coming from abroad to teach. "I think it's very interesting," said the Greek, who has spent almost three decades living and working in Brussels.

    April 11th, 2014, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Erasmus students sang, danced and performed during the traditional "Erasmus Got Talent" show held on campus. This year the Talent Show host was Cristoforo Balzano, a U.S. law graduate who is pursuing a Master's Degree in European Legal Affairs. The show hostess was Agnė Nalivaikaitė.

    Spending the 2014 spring semester abroad in Portugal, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Master's Degree student Keisha Ingram from Jamaica, says the multicultural setting, interactive lectures and geographic location of Porto - near the sea, combine for a unique learning experience. She said her joint degree programme allowing her to study in Portugal's Fernando Pessoa Universidade (UFP) is "a remarkable experience" allowing to meet students from Belgium, Germany, Holland, Georgia, Romania, Hungary, and other countries.
