    May 25-26th, 2017, representatives from about 25 countries attended the ASEM Conference on Women's Economic Empowerment at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU). The event was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour and MRU. Countries represented include: Bangladesh, China, the Czech Republic, India, Japan, Korea, Lao PDR, Pakistan, Romania, Singapore, Slovakia, Vietnam, U.K., and others.

    Singer Bjelle & poet Bakas Sang, Recited Poetry May 18th

    May 18th, 2017, singer songwriter Raminta Naujanytė Bjelle and poet Vainius Bakas performed, sang, recited poetry at the Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Library. With her silky smooth voice, Bjelle sang one lyrical melody after another - some while strumming the guitar or playing the electrical Yamaha piano. The hour-long concert, poetry recital left librarians, staff and academics mesmerized.

    MRU Partial Scholarships for Students From Ukraine, Belarus

    Citizens of the Republic of Ukraine and the Republic of Belarus, who are applying for Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree programmes, taught in English at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), are offered partial tuition scholarships. First-year Bachelor's Degree students are offered partial tuition scholarships from 360 to 800 Euros. First year Master's Degree students are offered partial tuition scholarships from 880 to 900 Euros, depending on the chosen study programme.
