Application Documents and Rules

Submission and Review Procedure

  • Researchers must submit their applications through the eDVS system (E. dokumentų projektai – Naujo dokumento vedlys – pasirenkamas E. vidaus dokumentas and Dokumento rūšis – Paraiška). Classification: Registras: 10VD – Byla: 7.10 E-320. The application must be endorsed by Agata Katkonienė, signed by the research supervisor, and staff must be informed (supažindinami darbuotojai – Agata Katkonienė).

  • Doctoral students – by email to the Board mkas@mruni.eu
  • Applications are accepted on a rolling basis. Those received by the 12th day of the current month will be considered at the nearest Board meeting
  • Applications will be considered within 20 working days
  • The minutes of the meetings will be recorded and extracts of the decisions will be provided to the applicant by eDVS (or email for doctoral students)

The Committee operates in accordance with the 2024 Order of the Lithuanian Ombudsman for Academic Ethics and Procedures On the Approval of Guidelines for the Assessment of Compliance with Research Ethics, which sets out general principles and recommendations for the activities of institutional committees.

Information about the newly approved Child Protection Policy and the use of QR codes

On October 22, 2025, the Rector of Mykolas Romeris University issued Order No. 1I-276 approving the Mykolas Romeris University Child Protection Policy.

In accordance with these provisions and Article 30(1) of the Law on the Fundamentals of Child Protection of the Republic of Lithuania, MRU academic staff who are registered in the Teachers’ Register automatically receive a QR code for legal work with children via the IRD electronic services portal.
