Summary: The project aims to create a sustainable research ecosystem at Mykolas Romeris University, which will host a Centre of Excellence for Social Innovation, conducting research and experimental development of the highest international standard in the fields of law, communication and information, education and psychology. Bringing together the R&D infrastructure needed for high-level research will support international networking between researchers, foster the development of excellence in world-leading scientific and research institutions and professional organisations, support R&D initiatives by research teams with the highest potential to achieve international excellence, and ensure the dissemination of research results to the academic community, stakeholders and the public. The project will create a sustainable ecosystem of excellence for the Centre of Excellence, thus increasing the competitiveness and attractiveness of MRU as a specialised research and academic institution in the higher education space and the visibility of Lithuanian research results in the international scientific community.

The aim of the project is to create a Centre of Excellence for Social Innovation at Mykolas Romeris University, where research and experimental development in the fields of law, communication and information, education and psychology will be carried out at the highest international level, and to strengthen the postgraduate and tertiary studies based on these activities, thus increasing MRU’s competitiveness and attractiveness as a specialised research and study institution in the higher education area.

The project is implemented within the framework of the programme “University Excellence Initiative” approved by the Lithuanian Research Council.
