You’re invited to join First Aid Training at MRU
This is a chance to gain or refresh essential skills that could help you save a life in a real emergency.
The training is led by our awesome instructor Rasa Lukošiūtė – a paramedic with real-world experience from the Emergency Medical Services. Rasa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from the Lithuanian Sports University and completed accredited first aid instructor training at the Health Education and Disease Prevention Centre in 2021.
During the session, you’ll learn how to:
Recognize life-threatening conditions and respond effectively
Help someone who is choking
React to sudden emergencies like a heart attack or stroke
Manage bleeding and apply basic wound care
Stay calm, confident, and take action when it matters most
This is not just theory – the training includes hands-on practice and real-life scenarios, answering many of the questions people are often afraid to ask.
The training is free for all MRU community members and takes place several times per month during the academic year.
