Setting up an email
You can create an email for MRU staff here. If you need help, you can contact Rimas Misevičius via email rimas@mruni.eu.
Email signature
We recommend using the official template with the MRU logo, job title and contacts. The email signature template can be found here.
Forwarding function
If you think you will forget / do not want to log in to your MRU email on a daily basis, you can forward your emails to your personal email account. How to do this?
Log in to your MRU email account, then:
select ‘Mail’ -> ‘Filters’ at the top of the list
select ‘Forward’ and enter the email address to which the email will be forwarded
click ‘Save’
MRU employees are issued with a uniquely designed, personalised work certificate – ITIC card.
To apply for an ITIC card, please contact Jonas Dzimidavičius via email jonasdzi@mruni.eu or come to C-II-135.
Newsletters are sent to all staff members’ MRU email addresses.
If you do not receive them, please contact info@mruni.eu.
The events calendar can be accessed via Outlook > Folders (bottom left menu bar)> Public Folders > All Public Folders > Other Calendars > “MRU renginių kalendorius”.

On the MRU website you can find detailed information about the official logos (LT and EN versions), slide templates and other MRU symbols.
MRU’s normative legal acts database publishes the internal legal acts of the higher education institution. The database can be found here.

In the case of sickness, administrative staff must inform their direct manager by email or telephone.

Health check
MRU staff are encouraged to have a periodic health check every 2 years. Every employee receives a reminder of the need for a health check-up when the deadline is approaching.
If you do not have a valid health check book or would like advice on obtaining a health check or a copy of the book, please contact Daiva Misiūnaitė, HR coordinator at the Personnel Management Centre via email daiva.misiunaite@mruni.eu. You can pick up your health check book at room C-IV-207.
OHS and fire safety briefing
MRU employees receive periodic annual briefings on occupational health and safety and fire safety and take tests by logging into the Moodle training platform using their MRU email and password.
Information on the deadline for mandatory and periodic briefings and login instructions are sent to employees by e-mail.

Yes, MRU employees receive financial support in the event of a disaster.
Order No 1I-61 of 28 February 2023 of the Rector of MRU No 1I-61 details the procedure for lump-sum payments in the event of the loss of an employee or a family member due to bereavement, sickness, natural disaster and loss of property.

Claim in case of illness, natural disaster or loss of property
The MRU Trade Union provides free legal advice to employees, assists in resolving disputes between individual employees and the administration through social mediation, takes care of and develops the social policy of our higher education institution, and represents employees’ interests at the Rector’s Office.
