Application Procedure

Mykolas Romeris University has one intake per year for studies commencing from September 1st

Online applications for the academic year 2026-2027 will open on January 1st, 2026, and can then be submitted through apply.mruni.eu.

Admission deadlines:

  • January 1st, 2026 – June 1st, 2026 – for applicants from non-EU countries
  • January 1st, 2026 – July 24th, 2026 – for applicants from EU/EFTA and countries that have a VFS Global center or who do not need Temporary Residence Permit for arrival to Lithuania

Note: The selection process at MRU is highly competitive for applicants from countries with a significantly higher number of applications compared to others. As a result, the number of available spots for students from these countries is limited in order to ensure diversity and to provide applicants from other regions with the opportunity to study at our University.

Application steps

  1. Choose a study programme
  2. Fill in the application form at apply.mruni.eu
  3. Pay the non-refundable application fee (for non-EU citizens – 100 euros, for EU-citizens, MRU alumni, and Ukrainians – 50 euros)
  4. Receive your application evaluation results
  5. Confirm your acceptance by paying the first-year tuition fee and 50 euros registration fee (non-refundable)
  6. Sign the study contract
  7. Start Temporary Residence Permit application procedure
  8. Register to studies

Requirements for Bachelor degree seeking students

  • Secondary education diploma or equivalent including final grades*
  • Document proving English language level
  • Motivational letter (please note that the authenticity of the motivation letter will be verified using specialized software, so it should be written without AI assistance)
  • Passport copy
  • Additional educational documents might be required depending on the country of residence. Please check country specific requirements before applying. 

*The minimum 60% of maximum possible GPA is required in order to be considered for admission.

Provided documents must be in color, have no cut corners (high quality scan).

By submitting the documents applicant agrees for one’s information to be shared with other institutions that the University might refer to while processing the academic verification.

Applicants might be asked to participate in additional knowledge evaluation.

Requirements for Master degree seeking students

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent first university degree diploma (3-year study duration minimum) (specific field diploma might be required depending on the chosen study program)
  • Academic Transcripts of each study year*
  • Document proving English language level
  • Motivational letter (please note that the authenticity of the motivation letter will be verified using specialized software, so it should be written without AI assistance)
  • Passport copy
  • Additional educational documents might be required depending on the country of residence. Please check country specific requirements before applying.
