ERUA Short-term Mobility
The European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) offers a range of study exchange activities to provide students with a unique and rewarding learning experience.
ERUA Intensive Courses
These courses are an excellent opportunity for students to participate in short-term mobility programmes and discover the academic and cultural experiences offered by ERUA. Intensive courses can take place in a physical, virtual or mixed format, giving students the opportunity to gain international experience. By participating in these courses, students have the opportunity to improve their foreign language, meet like-minded people from different countries, broaden their horizons and gain valuable knowledge and skills for the future. For participation in the physical mobility to attend ERUA intensive course the selected MRU students receive ERUA short-term mobility grants
ERUA Summer and Winter Schools
The ERUA Summer and Winter Schools are a unique opportunity for students to participate in short-term (1-2 weeks) activities in English, to enrich their learning experience and to contribute to the internationalisation of study programmes. These schools promote an interdisciplinary approach, giving students the opportunity to take a broader perspective on different academic fields. For participation in the physical mobility to attend ERUA summer and winter schools the selected MRU students receive ERUA short-term mobility grants
ERUA Travelling Seminars
Travelling seminar is a training programme based on the mobility of one teacher and his/her students to another ERUA university for a joint project / workshops / lectures embedded in the standard or elective offer. For participation in the physical mobility to attend ERUA Travelling Seminar the selected MRU students receive ERUA short-term mobility grants
ERUA Semester Courses
In addition to the short-term intensive courses, students can also choose to take a semester course at one of the ERUA universities. MRU student can apply for semester duration exchanges at ERUA partner universities during the general or additional calls for Erasmus+ study mobility. Selected MRU students for a semester duration mobility to ERUA partner university will receive Erasmus+ study mobility grant. Application periods for Erasmus+ study mobility usually are taking place in September-October for the upcoming spring semester mobility, and in January-March for the upcoming Autumn semester mobility.
To participate in ERUA mobility activities, you must be familiar with the selection conditions and eligibility requirements for the specific activity published by ERUA.
If you wish to participate in ERUA mobility activities, you must contact the academic coordinators of the faculties. Calls to apply for joining the ERUA travelling seminar (outgoing) is normally announced by a professor who leads the travelling seminar. For other ERUA initiatives (intensive courses, summer/winter schools) calls for applications are announced on ERUA website https://erua-eui.eu/news-and-events/

After obtaining the consent of the academic faculty coordinator, students should log in to their e-study book and fill in the “Application for Short-Term Study Mobility (STM)” in accordance with the following instructions.

The selection of university students for the ERUA Short-Term Study Mobility is carried out by the selection committee of the relevant Faculty.
The requirements for participants, the calculation of the competition score, the submission of documents, the procedure of the selection, the completion of the documents for the departure of the selected participants to the Host Organisation, the settlement of the Participant at the end of the ERUA Short-Term Learning Mobility and the academic recognition shall be carried out in the manner set out in the description of the procedures for the organisation of the MRU students’ mobility for outgoing learning purposes.
MRU students selected to participate in short-term activities within the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) are required to complete the following steps:
1. Registration and Account Setup in Mobility Online platform

The International Office will send to the selected MRU student an email containing a link and instructions for creating an account in the Mobility Online platform.

Within the account, students must provide personal and bank details necessary for the preparation of the financial agreement.
2. Document Preparation and Submission via Mobility Online
Students are required to prepare and submit the following documents through the Mobility Online platform:

Confirmation of acceptance from the ERUA partner university;

Copies of travel tickets (round trip: outbound and return);

Request to be sent to participate in the ERUA event and to receive the grant.
The request should be uploaded only after it has been signed by the student and the faculty vice-dean or academic coordinator (for doctoral students – the head of Social Innovations Doctoral School).
The request must indicate: actual activity days according to the ERUA event program and total mobility days based on the purchased travel tickets.

Travel insurance: Students must ensure valid travel/medical insurance covering the entire mobility period.
Important: Students are responsible for planning their travel, purchasing tickets, and selecting suitable and secure accommodation for the entire mobility period, taking into account their available financial resources.

Scholarships for students (including doctoral students)
Available financial support from ERUA project for MRU students, selected to participate in ERUA activity at ERUA partner university:
ERUA project short-term student mobility grant to ERUA partner consists of: 79 eur/day individual support grant for days of activities and additional travel days [1] and a top-up support towards travel costs[2].
[1] 1 additional travel day is financed with individual support when going to SWPS or EUV; up to 2 additional travel days are financed with individual support when going to UP8, UNIMC, NBU, UAEGEAN, ULPGC.
[2] 210 eur – when going to SWPS in Warsaw (mandatory to use green travel by bus or train; with other means of transportation granted amount will be 180 eur);
275 eur – when going to EUV, UP8, UNIMC, NBU, UAEGEAN, Poznan or Krakow campus of SWPS;
360 eur –to Rhodes campus of UAEGEAN;
820 eur- when going to ULPGC.
After completing the ERUA activity, students must submit the following documents through their Mobility Online account:
1. Proof of Participation (Attendance Certificate // ERUA certificate)
The host institution issues a document confirming the student’s participation in the event. If applicable, the certificate may also indicate 2–5 ECTS credits earned during the program. (Students are expected to upload this document to the Mobility-Online account both – as a duration certificate and as ToR)
2. Travel Documents
Copies of bus, train, or flight tickets (Vilnius – host institution city – Vilnius) must be uploaded to the Mobility Online account.
3. Post-Mobility Survey
After the ERUA activity, students are required to complete the online EU survey. An invitation to complete the survey will be sent via email after the conclusion of the ERUA event.
4. Submission Deadline
All final documents must be submitted within 30 calendar days from the end of the event.
Important: If it is not possible to submit the documents on time, the student must inform the International Relations Office by email at outgoing@mruni.eu.
