Three MRU scientists have been awarded one-off prizes by the Foundation for the Promotion of Research Activities for their active scientific work

Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) congratulates scientists who are actively engaged in scientific activities in 2023, and who are awarded one-off prizes by the Foundation for the Promotion of Research Activities. The prizes are awarded in 3 categories: the most active experienced researcher of the year, the most active young researcher of the year and the most active PhD student of the year.

The Most Active Experienced Researcher of the Year Award goes to Dr Paulo Alexandre da Silva Pereira, Professor at the Institute of Public Administration, Faculty of Public Governance and Business.

The Young Researcher of the Year Award was presented to Dr Remigijus Jokubauskas, Associate Professor, Institute of Private Law, Law School.

The most active PhD student of the year was awarded to Alexandr Segal, PhD student at the Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Human and Social Studies.

Researchers were evaluated according to the following criteria: significance of their publications, contribution to the last three annual institutional science assessments, participation in project activities, involvement in initiating or carrying out an international R&D project, internationalization of research, and activity in organizing scientific events. Prizes were awarded to the highest scoring researchers and PhD students. The MRU Foundation for the Promotion of Research Activities received 19 applications.
