Students’ “Multicultural Journey” Held March 31st

March 31st, 2017, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) international students took everyone on a "Multicultural Journey" that was held at the MRU LAB facility.

MRU Chancellor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Saulius Spurga opened the event and delivered the welcome speech. Dr. Spurga read a letter from MRU Rector Assoc. Prof. Algirdas Monkevičius thanking them for the initiative.

The "Multicultural Journey" was organized by MRU and the International Students Association (ISA).

Students presented their countries, folk costumes and food during the afternoon event. Students from Algeria, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Czechia, Pakistan, and Slovakia participated.

MRU Folk dancing group, "Skalsa" and Vilnius "Gabijos" Gymnasium Folk Dancers "Gabija" performed along with the "Afrikos Būgnai" drummers. In addition, the international youth group's "Jazz Band" performed especially for this event and project.

Azerbaijan Embassy in Lithuania Attache Samir Musayev attended along with "Azerbaijan Youth Organisation of Lithuania" President Khidir Kazimov.
