More than a decade ago, director Arjun Talwar, inspired by Polish cinema, moved from India to Poland. However, even after many years, integration hasn’t come easily — not even on Wilcza Street, right in the heart of Warsaw.
With the help of his friend Mo — a fellow immigrant and filmmaker — Arjun begins to explore the stories of his own street. The film introduces everyday, charismatic residents whose experiences reveal connection, loneliness, and a kind of refuge from the melancholy and alienation often felt in Eastern Europe.
This is a witty, sensitive, and sincere portrait of Polish society. With love and a touch of irony, the film captures the immigrant experience and the strikingly familiar sense of closedness that characterizes many Eastern European societies toward outsiders.
We warmly invite you to join us!
