Jan. 17th, 2023, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Regina Valutytė met with Embassy of Japan's Second Secretary in Lithuania Mr. Shinichiro Sekine, and Ms. Kyoko Matuseva, an assistant in the Embassy's Security and Consular Section. Guests were acquainted with the University and ongoing and planned activities with Japanese universities. There was discussion about Japanese students who study at MRU under exchange programmes or seek a degree in Lithuania.

Currently,  MRU collaborates with 6 Japanese universities and hosts 10 incoming exchange students. There are 6 students from Japan who are studying in Bachelor's or Master's Degree programmes at MRU.
