We invite early-career researchers to join public lectures on 11 December 2025 at Mykolas Romeris University.

“Teachers’ well-being: Links to their classroom practices and students’ learning” (in English)
Lecturer – Dr. Gintautas Šilinskas, Turku Research Institute for Learning Analytics, Finland.

About the lecturer: Dr. G. Šilinskas is a psychologist whose research focuses on the roles of parents and teachers in children’s academic development, as well as developmental and educational psychology. He has published more than 30 scientific papers and currently conducts research at the Turku Research Institute for Learning Analytics in Finland.

“The Diversity of Inclusive Education Concepts and Contextual Implementation” (in Lithuanian)
Lecturer – Dr. Ieva Kuginytė-Arlauskienė, University of South-Eastern Norway.

About the lecturer: Dr. I. Kuginytė-Arlauskienė is an education researcher focusing on inclusive education for children with special educational needs, the education of deaf and hard-of-hearing children, behavioural and mental health challenges in schools, and bullying prevention. Since 2020, she has served as an expert for Norway’s National Down Syndrome Network and has developed national guidelines for the education of children with Down syndrome.

 

Consultations for PhD Students

From 16:00, the researchers will provide consultations for PhD students in the field of education.

 

These activities are carried out under the project “Education Research Breakthrough” (No. 10-044-P-0001), funded by the European Union under agreements with the Research Council of Lithuania and Mykolas Romeris University.
