Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) student Habeeb Sanni from Lagos, Nigeria says his MRU Degree will help him land a good job back home, once he graduates.

The Bachelor's Degree student is majoring in Business Informatics at MRU's Business and Media School (BMS). It is run in conjunction with U.K.'s Middlesex University (MU).

"Information technologies is in high demand. It will be easy to get a job in Nigeria with a Degree from MRU," he said.

After completing Bachelor's Degree studies, he is considering applying to MRU to pursue Master's Degree studies, Sanni said.

He came to MRU via Cyprus and a detour in Kaunas, where he spent a semester pursuing studies. Then he came to MRU based on a recommendation.

"The students are open and the lecturers are open. You can easily meet with lecturers if needed," he added.

The ever-smiling Sanni says it's easy to make friends at MRU. Aside from his fellow countrymen, he has made friends with Lithuanian students and also students from Pakistan, Italy and Turkey.

"I really like to meet people, make friends," he added.

He has nothing but praise for lecturers at MRU especially Marius Kalinauskas, who teaches "Business Marketing." He explains everything "perfectly" and I really like him, the Nigerian student said.

Everything is great at MRU except for the cold weather, he says.

"The weather, I think is the only thing that would discourage you from coming to Lithuania, but with time you can get used to it," he said.

Sanni noted, that unlike Nigeria, many Lithuanians are serious and don't smile in public. "It's cold here, so that's why maybe, people don't like to smile," he explained.

But, overall he is happy with his studies and life at MRU. So happy that he's already recommended MRU to friends not only in Lagos, but also in Cyprus.
