On January 27, the Rector of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), Prof. Dr. Inga Žalėnienė, welcomed the Head of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Lithuania, Grzegorz Marek Poznański, and the Director of the Eastern Europe Studies Centre at the University of Warsaw (Poland), Prof. Dr. Jan Malicki.

During the meeting, MRU’s cooperation with academic partners in Poland and planned new initiatives in the fields of education and research were discussed. Particular attention was paid to addressing common challenges, strengthening the academic community, fostering historical memory, and sharing experience in integrating new technologies into teaching and research processes.

The meeting once again highlighted the role of universities in strengthening international dialogue, promoting critical thinking, and building a sustainable, values-based partnership between Lithuanian and Polish academic institutions.
