Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Institute of Educational Sciences and Social Work Director Prof. Dr. Valdonė Indrašienė has been appointed to the National Agency for Education's Council by order of Education, Science and Sport Minister Jurgita Šiugždinienė.

The National Agency for Education is an educational assistance institution founded by Lithuania's Ministry of Education, Sport  and Science. It was established by merging the former Education Development Centre, the National Centre for Special Needs Education, the Ministry's Psychology, Education Supply Centre, the National Examination Centre, the Centre of Information Technologies in Education and the National Agency for School Evaluation.

The work of the Agency  began September 1st, 2019.
