Sudovian Academy

In the spring semester of 2026, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Sudovian Academy, together with the MRU Marijampolė Regional Open Access STEAM Centre, invites students from European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) partner universities to participate in the international intensive course “STEAM Education Without Borders.”

This 3 ECTS credit hybrid course, taking place in Marijampolė on 4–8 May 2026, begins with an online introductory meeting on 30 April, during which students are introduced to ERUA partners, course aims, and assignments. The core part of the course is delivered as an intensive programme, integrating theoretical input with hands-on learning in university laboratories and diverse urban learning environments.

Throughout the course, students from different ERUA universities work in international and interdisciplinary teams, applying problem-based learning, design thinking, and experiential methods. Learning activities include hands-on work in STEAM laboratories (digital technologies, environmental inquiry, robotics, data visualisation), inquiry-based urban learning challenges, and creative tasks that treat the city as an extended learning space.

The course culminates in a public final event, where student teams present innovative STEAM learning scenarios designed for community and school contexts.

The course is open to Bachelor’s (1st–4th year) and Master’s students in education, social sciences, humanities, and STEAM-related fields. The language of instruction is English (minimum B2 level). Twenty places are available for ERUA students, with the application deadline on 9 March 2026.

Students interested in participating are invited to submit their application online HERE.
