Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) - the largest social sciences university in Lithuania has successfully implemented the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment (EOSE)  project. It seeks to encourage employee development in sports and the physical activity sector. The project was financed by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport.

MRU, in collaboration with the Association of Lithuanian Municipalities, 2019-2021 implemented the "Lithuanian Municipalities Public Sports Services Providers' Competencies Development" programme. This project aims to encourage physical activity in the sports sector and provide and announce sports specialist preparation and qualification practices. Participation proved worthwhile: successful results were presented in the European Observatoire of Sport and Employment publication, which you can find by pressing čia.

MRU is an active member of EOSE.
