June 27th, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Prof. Vytautas Šlapkauskas turned 70 years old. Colleagues, students and others who wanted to congratulate him were able to do so on June 27th at the Public Security Academy.

Prof. V. Šlapkauskas was born June 27th, 1953 m. in Kybartai, in district of Vilkaviškis. He began his long career as a law professor in the then called  – Lithuanian Law Academy in 1998. In 2020 he was awarded the title of MRU Honorary Professor.

He is the author of 25 books and textbooks.

Prof. V. Šlapkauskas has a saying that love is the most important source of an optimistic life - in work and for empathy and responsibility.
