Representatives of the Student Admissions Center of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) participated in an international event “ICEF Mexico–Colombia Roadshow“, which brought together higher education institutions and student recruitment agencies from Mexico and Colombia. This is an effective platform to establish contacts with reliable partners working in the field of student counseling and study abroad.

During the event, the MRU team had meetings with more than 30 potential partners, with whom they discussed cooperation opportunities in order to attract students from these rapidly growing markets. The university attracted great interest due to the European studies offered, competitive prices, and favorable and clear migration procedures for students.

During the visit, MRU representatives also met with representatives of the Lithuanian Honorary Consulates in Mexico and Colombia and visited local schools, where they presented study opportunities in Lithuania. Such meetings help strengthen the image of Lithuania as an attractive study destination in the region.

According to MRU representatives, this visit came at a very opportune time – more and more students are looking for alternatives to traditional fields of study, which are becoming less attractive due to rising prices and more complex migration requirements. In this context, Lithuania and MRU stood out as an attractive choice.

Participation in the “ICEF Mexico–Colombia Roadshow“ once again confirmed MRU’s ambition to actively expand international cooperation and strengthen the University’s visibility in the global study market.
