On May 13–14, the Dean of the Faculty of Human and Social Studies at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), Prof. Dr. Odeta Merfeldaitė, the Vice-Dean for International Relations and Projects, Prof. Dr. Jolanta Pivorienė, and the Director of the Institute of Communication, Prof. Dr. Marius Kalinauskas, participated in the international symposium “Research Impact of Arts@Matter (RIAM)” organized by the University of the Aegean. This symposium was dedicated to exploring the interaction between research and the arts, as well as their impact on society.
This was the first event of the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) cluster “Arts@Matter. Expanding the Perspective on Disadvantage Guidance in Preschool Education.” During the symposium, the MRU delegation presented the university’s ongoing research, emphasizing topics of social justice and inclusion in education, and discussed future collaboration opportunities with other ERUA partners.
Participation in this international event strengthened MRU’s image as an internationally active university, while the connections established with representatives of other European universities opened up new avenues for collaboration.
