Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Chancellor Assoc. Prof. Saulius Spurga and MRU Theatre Head Julius Dautartas are recepients of the Gabrielė Petkevičaitė-Bitė Memorial Medal, "Serving Lithuania."

Chancellor Spurga was recognized for his numerous articles, commentary and published works. Dautartas, a former Seimas member, was recognized for fostering parlamentarian traditions and their dissemination.

Medals will be awarded March 30th in Panevėžys in the J. Miltinis Drama Theatre.
