Japanese Ambassador to Lithuania Tetsu Ozaki on 28th of March, will give a lecture at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), where he will discuss how and why we can and should avoid war, based on Eastern philosophical thought.

According to Ambassador Ozaki, in the context of Ukraine's struggle for freedom, which is now in its second year, it is possible to compare the thoughts of Professor Mykolas Romeris with those of Japan's nineteenth-century political reformers, as well as to discover the wisdom of contemporary thinkers from East and West.

"I would be interested to hear what the followers of Professor Mykolas Romeris's scientific thought, his students, think about ways to avoid armed conflicts today and to answer their questions," says Japanese Ambassador T. Ozaki.

We invite you to participate actively!

The lecture will take place in English on 28 March at 15:00, at MRU, Room I-414, Ateities str. 20, Vilnius.
