Feb. 5th, 2015, Beginner's Korean Language students, who completed the first semester of studies, were awarded King Sejong Institute (KSI) certificates during a ceremony at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).

MRU Vice-Rector for Research and International Relations Prof. Inga Žalėnienė presented students with the KSI certificates. There were 27 students, who successfully passed a Korean language exam, and completed the course.

The courses are organized not only for MRU students, university community members, but for all those interested in Korean language and culture.

The King Sejong Fund delegated Korean language lecturer for MRU, Hyunjung Kim, said there was much interest in the Korean language studies.

Some of the Korean langauge students have already visited South Korea, while others plan to do so in the future. This will allow the students to apply what they learned in practice, she noted.

The huge interest in the Korean language courses at MRU during the fall semester indicates that these courses will be popular in the future.

Registration to the courses, held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 16:20 hrs., continues until Feb. 9th. Register by writing: r.vilniene@mruni.eu

The King Sejong Institute organizes not only Korean language courses, but also cultural and other events, including lectures about Korea.
