Japan’s Samurai Group KAMUI Performed Nov. 13th

Nov. 13th, 2015, Japan's Samurai group KAMUI members prepared a demonstration of Kengido martial arts showing the Samurais respect for the sword.

KAMUI is a Samurai Sword Artist group established and led by Tetsuro Shimaguchi. Its performances are based on the original methods, Kengido, which is a mixed style of Japanese sword play, Kenjutsu, and expressive arts.

The KAMUI group is based in Tokyo and performs in theaters and festivals throughout the world including: the U.S., Italy, Poland, France, Spain, Vietnam and U.K.

Group Head Shimaguchi is well known in Japan and abroad.

He is a choreographer of the fight scenes in Quentin Tarantino's film, "Kill Bill," between actresses Uma Thurman and Lucy Liu.
