Aug. 30th-Sept. 4th, 2016, Introductory Week Events began for international degree-seeking and Erasmus and exchange students were held on the campus of Mykolas Romeris University.

MRU Vice-Rector for Education Assoc. Prof. Giedrius Viliūnas addressed students on the first day along with MRU International Office Head Audra Dargytė-Burokienė.

This 2016 fall semester, MRU welcomed a record crop of more than 270 students from abroad.

There are 170 Erasmus and international exchange students from 96 universities in 28 countries studying at MRU. 

The most students come from universities in China, the Czech Republic, Germany, France, Japan, Korea, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Slovakia, Turkey.  
 
MRU has signed more than 300 cooperation agreements with universities in some 40 countries.     

About a hundred international Bachelor's and Master's Degree students from abroad have also gathered on campus to begin studies. They included students from: Azerbaijan, Belarus, India, Italy, France, Germany, Georgia, Ghana, Japan, South Korea, Latvia, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Sweden, Turkey, the U.K., the U.S. and other countries.
