Information notice to the FHSS community regarding the faculty council elections
Faculty of Human and Social Studies

Dear staff of the Faculty of Human and Social Studies,

We hereby announce the commencement of the Faculty Council election process at the Faculty of Human and Social Studies.

In accordance with the Faculty Regulations, candidates for Council membership are nominated at the institute level, following the established election procedure.

 

Election Meeting

A meeting of the Faculty’s teaching and research staff will take place remotely on March 4 at 16:00.

During the meeting, the voting procedure will be presented.

 

Voting

After the meeting, voting will take place at the Faculty – the ŽVSF Dean’s Office, room V-243, from March 4 at 16:30 until March 13 (inclusive).

Faculty teaching and research staff will receive ballot papers upon voting. Decisions shall be adopted by a majority vote.

Please note that the meeting shall be considered valid if more than 50% of the Faculty’s teaching and research staff participate (quorum requirement).

 

Quotas and Number of Candidates

Each Faculty institute nominates 4 candidates.

Please note that 2 members from each institute will be elected to the Faculty Council.
