The first King Sejong Institute (KSI) in the Baltic States was established at Mykolas Romeris University. For more than a decade, it has been successfully teaching Korean language and culture. The Institute has become an important platform for students wishing to deepen their knowledge of South Korea and has contributed to cultural dialogue between the two countries. This year, more than 300 students graduated from KSI.
Since 2014, MRU has been cooperating with Dongseo University (DSU) in Busan. The partnership includes double degree programmes in Game Development and Digital Animation, as well as Digital Media Design.
This year, 55 students from South Korea are enrolled in the joint programmes, and an additional 10 students have arrived under exchange programmes. Faculty exchange has also been taking place for many years.
