On 10 November, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) will host a special ESWOCHY gathering "The Interplay Between Social Work Education and Practice”. This event will bring together ESWOCHY partners, teachers, and alumni to celebrate our shared achievements, reconnect, and reflect on the experiences and lasting impact of our joint Master's programme.
What can you expect?
- Celebrating our colleagues' achievements (16:05–16:15). We will congratulate Professor Dr. Valdonė Indrašienė on receiving the Honorary Badge of the Lithuanian Ministry of Education, Science and Sport, and Professor Dr. Vida Gudžinskienė on receiving the Ministry of Social Security and Labour's Star of Kindness award.
- Book launch (16:15–16:40). We will present The Interplay Between Social Work Education and Practice, a Springer publication reflecting the connections between social work education, research, and professional practice.
- Coffee break and informal networking (16:40–17:00). An opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and former students.
- “WE ARE THE ESWOCHY STORY” (17:00–17:30). A special session dedicated to our alumni, who will share their personal journeys, professional experiences, and reflections on how ESWOCHY has shaped their lives and careers.
- Alumni focus group (17:30–18:00). An opportunity for ESWOCHY graduates to reflect on their learning experiences, professional development, and the programme's long-term impact.
Although the ESWOCHY project has officially concluded, the relationships, experiences, and academic community we have built together continue to thrive. We hope this gathering will be another opportunity to strengthen our connections and explore how the ESWOCHY story can continue.
We warmly encourage all partners to join us and invite your colleagues to participate.
We look forward to seeing you and celebrating what we have achieved together!
