Feb. 23rd, 2018, Japan's Ambassador Toyoei Shigeeda, residing in Vilnius, awarded MRU Japanese Language Lecturer and Kendo Master Yoshiyuki Haga a Certificate of Merit

Ambassador Shigeeda thanked Haga for his achievements including teaching Japanese language and fostering Japanese culture in Vilnius.

For the 2nd year in a row, Haga has been teaching Japanese at Mykolas Romeris University.

Also, Haga is a Kendo martial arts Master and has been teaching Lithuanians and others in Vilnius, this Japanese martial art.

Most recently, Feb. 24-25th, Haga was a judge in the Baltic 3 Countries Kendo Championships that were held in Vilnius.

MRU congratulates Haga and is proud of his recognition.
