How are corporations reshaping their governance in response to the EU’s sustainability agenda? What happens when responsibility becomes a legal obligation – and not just a value? How do sustainability requirements intersect with global competitiveness in an increasingly regulated market? What are the governance challenges faced by startups as they navigate these new expectations? These and other pressing questions will take center stage at the International Scientific Workshop on Corporate Governance Transformation in Light of Recent Sustainability Legislation, hosted by Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) on September 17, 2025.
This hybrid international workshop will gather early-career and senior researchers from Martin-Luther University Halle-Wittenberg, MRU, and the University of Tartu to dissect and discuss how sustainability legislation is redrawing the map of corporate governance.
