April 9th, 2019, the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in Lithuania Zhifei Shen opened the "China Miracles in the Last 40 Years" photo exhibition at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).

MRU Rector Prof. Inga Žalėnienė made opening remarks. She said China is MRU's strategic partner and emphasized the University's cooperation with universities in China.

Ambassador Zhifei Shen addressed those attending the opening saying that all the achievements are those of the hard-working Chinese.

Students from France, studying Chinese and other foreign languages and undertaking Erasmus internships at MRU attended the opening. Several students from China, who are degree-students at MRU, also attended and managed to take a photo with China's Ambassador.

There are more than 60 photos in the exhibition. Photos include panoramic views of China, the famous Chinese bullet train, the newly-built Hong Kong-Zhuhai Macao bridge and many others.

The exhibition is made up of 3 parts:

1) Historical route
2) Development Achievements
3) Win-win Cooperation

The photos highlight the power of the Chinese people and detail how reforms and the opening-up in China have enabled its people aspire to better lives and explore beyond their borders.

During the opening of the exhibition student Ningrui Liu from China played the flute. Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LMTA) student Augustina Vizbaraitė played the violin. Both were accompanied by pianist A. Vizbaras.

All invited to view the exhibition, which will be on display thru the end of April 2019.
