
MRU’s partner in the ERUA Alliance – European University Viadrina (Frankfurt (Oder), Germany) invites doctoral candidates and early post-doctoral researchers to apply for the Visiting Program for Early Career Researchers – a one-month research stay in 2026.
This program offers the chance to advance your research in an international environment, establish new academic collaborations, and gain valuable interdisciplinary experience with colleagues from across Europe.
Who can apply?
PhD candidates and postdocs (up to 7 years after PhD) who do not hold a permanent academic position.
Key details:
- Duration: 1 month between January and December 2026
- Host: European University Viadrina, Frankfurt (Oder), Germany
- Research areas: Social Sciences, Humanities, and interdisciplinary projects. Topics include migration, climate change, democracy and human rights, gender equality, interculturality, digital transformation, law & society, crises and conflicts, borders and migration, language and cultural practices.
- Funding:
- Living allowance – €1,000
- Travel allowance – up to €400
- Application deadline: 28 November 2025
- Additional opportunity: participation in the ERUA Research Week in October 2026 (details will be announced in June 2026).
