Mykolas Romeris University community is invited to participate in the upcoming Online Biennale “Arts & Edges”, taking place virtually on November 28–29, 2025. This international event is organized within the framework of the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) and will be hosted by the University of the Aegean.
The Biennale invites participants to explore the concept of the edge – not as a boundary, but as a space of transition, where disciplines, cultures, and social forces intersect to foster creativity, critical reflection, and social transformation.
📚 Suggested thematic areas:
- Migration, exile, refugees, and borders
- Environmental transition
- Democracy, human rights, inclusion, and gender equality
- Interculturality and multilingualism
- Practices, interventions, and experiments in local communities
- Emerging issues in public space
📥 Abstract submission:
- Length: up to 300 words
- Include: up to 6 keywords and a short author biography (max. 250 words)
- Submission deadline: June 30, 2025, 23:59 CET
