June 7th, 2019, University of Bordeaux Prof. Eric Berr completed a series of lectures at Mykolas Romeris University to Master's Degree students of the EU Law and Governance programme. It is a Master's programme that is implemented jointly with France's University of Bordeaux.

Prof. Berr lectured on International Economics. He has visited Vilnius and lectured at MRU numerous times since 2013.

He said teaching to students at MRU Vilnius is not all that different than teaching to students in France. Berr noted that students in Vilnius seem more shy and do not ask many questions, unlike students in France.

During numerous visits to Vilnius, he has noticed that much has changed and that the city "is developing and expanding."

One of the more unusual occurrences was when he met one of his students from University of Bordeaux "by accident" in Vilnius who is now an Erasmus exchange student in Vilnius.

"I'm very happy to be here," he said. "It's always a pleasure. The city is nice and the welcome of colleagues great," he added.

At the University of Bordeaux, Berr lectures on macroeconomics, Monetary Economics and the Development of Economies.
