International Office Managers Visited Communication University of China

July 15th-21st, 2018, Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) International Office Managers visited the Communication University of China in Beijing to foster further student and staff exchanges between the two universities. MRU Sr. Manager for Incoming Students Inesa Cvetkova and MRU Manager for Outgoing Students Eglė Bielinytė were in Beijing to meet with University representatives. Both universities recently signed an Erasmus+ International Credit Mobility agreement (KA107), which will allow students, teaching staff, and administrators to come to MRU. The MRU Managers visited the Communication University's campus and went to the Media Museum and the Advertising Museum, which are located on campus. "For us, the campus is big," said Cvetkova speaking about how modern and contemporary the Communication University campus is. University auditoriums are equipped with new Apple computers for students to use. In addition, there are modern TV studios, where students can try their hand at working as television announcers and broadcasters. "The University, which has about 15,000 full-time students, has many famous alumni who are working in journalism or broadcasting," Cvetkova said. This fall MRU will welcome several students from the Communication University, who will spend a semester at MRU. A delegation from the Communication University of China will visit MRU in October.
