June 10th, 2019, Ukrainian, Estonian, Latvian, Ukrainian and other academics attended the International Conference, "International Security in the Frame of Modern Global Challenges" that was held at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU).
Senate Head and MRU Prof. Vainius Smalskys delivered the Welcome Address.
European Parliament member Petras Auštrevičius discussed "Lithuania's Road to the European Union: Experience for Ukraine."
Lithuania's former Minister of Foreign Affairs and Seimas member Audronius Ažubalis discussed Global Challenges and International Security.
Foreign Affairs Ministry Advisor R. Stanionis, and Ukrainian university lecturers O. Zakharova and Prof. O. Shvydanenko also spoke.
In addition, MRU Head of the Communication Institute Assoc. Prof. Virginijus Valentinavičius moderated discussions during the conference along with Public Governance Faculty Leadership and Strategic Management Institute Prof. Alvydas Baležentis.
The event was in English, Ukrainian, Lithuanian and Russian languages.
