April 28th, 2023, at 10.00, the 3rd annual international Conference on Trends and Challenges in European and National Criminal Justice Policies will be held at the Ministry of Justice, Gedimino Ave. 30, Vilnius. 

INVITATION TO THE CONFERENCE

For the third year in a row, three Lithuanian academic institutions – the Law School of Mykolas Romeris University (MRU), the Law Institute at the Lithuanian Centre for Social Sciences and the Vytautas Magnus University (VDU) Law Faculty – are jointly organizing the conference that focuses on contemporary trends in criminal policy that are reflected in European Union (EU) law and in the latest criminal policy decisions in European countries. 

The conference intends to provide a forum for sharing the latest fundamental ideas and practical insights on emerging issues in the field of the criminal justice.

Researchers in law and interdisciplinary research and also legal practitioners, students of law and criminology are invited to attend the event.

Remote participation will be available.

EQUIPMENT USED DURING THE NOTIFICATION

Speakers will be able to use a computer and projector (using PowerPoint). PowerPoint presentations must be sent by e-mail (skirmantas.bikelis@teise.org) to the conference organizers no later than one day before the conference (ie. by April 27th inclusive). The name of the file sent consists of the name and surname of the notifier.
