Sept. 16^th, 2022, at the Cultural Center of Kybartai, from 9 a.m., an international scientific conference, “Forum Suduva” will be held to mark the 600^th anniversary of the Melno Peace Treaty. The Conference, “The Socio-cultural Role of the Melno Peace Treaty in the Development of European and Lithuanian Security Architecture” will open with Welcome Addresses by dignitaries including MRU Rector Prof. Inga Žalėnienė.

 The Conference is sponsored in part by the Vilkaviskis municipality, former Lithuanian Premier and current Seimas member Algirdas Butkevičius, European parliament member Juozas Olekas and bus company, “Kautra.”
