Discounts for Article Publication

Academic Publishing Opportunities in 2026

We invite MRU scholars and researchers to take advantage of the opportunity to publish in hybrid and open access journals of international publishers—free of charge or with article processing charge (APC) discounts.

What is an APC?
APC (Article Processing Charge) is a fee charged by publishers for publishing open access articles in order to cover peer review, editing, and other publishing costs.

 Important Information for Authors

  • When submitting an article to journals covered by OUP, CUP, Emerald, SAGE, Taylor & Francis, and EIFL agreements, always use your official MRU email address (@mruni.eu or @stud.mruni.eu). This allows publishers to recognize your eligibility for APC discounts.
  • Before submitting an article, carefully review the requirements of the selected journal (e.g., abstract length, structure, etc.).
  • See the remaining national quotas for Lithuania in 2026 here
  • If you do not yet have an official MRU email address or need help activating it, more information is available here
