Bachelor’s and Master’s students at Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) are invited to apply for the European Reform University Alliance (ERUA) intensive course, “The Art of Emotions: Theory and Practice of Art Therapy,” taking place on 28–30 September 2026 at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS) in Katowice, Poland.
This three-day course is designed for students interested in art therapy, emotional well-being, creativity, and self-discovery. The programme combines theoretical lectures with practical workshops, where participants will explore a variety of art therapy methods, including expressive painting, intuitive drawing, collage making, visual journaling, and other creative expression techniques.
Throughout the course, students will examine the relationship between art and emotions, the role of creativity in emotional self-regulation, and the practical applications of art therapy. Individual and group activities will provide opportunities to experience art therapy methods firsthand, while mindfulness exercises and guided reflection sessions will further support participants’ personal and emotional development.
Students who successfully complete the course will be awarded 3 ECTS credits.
