What is changing in the Legal Profession in the Age of Artificial Intelligence and other technologies? Throughout the week, students and doctoral candidates from Bulgaria, Latvia, Poland, Romania and Ukraine delved into the latest trends in the field of law and new opportunities for the legal profession.
The Blended Intensive Program (BIP) “Legal Career in the Age of Artificial Intelligence” provided opportunities for participants to discuss and engage in practical tasks: simulations, moot courts, gamification with legal practitioners on AI, migration, and the anti-counterfeiting themes. Participants discussed new opportunities, challenges, and new types of cases with representatives of the courts, the Bar Association, and corporate lawyers, and visited the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Lithuania.
Thematic discussions were also held in historical places in Lithuania – Trakai Castle, Vilnius Carillon, and others. During the week-long event, participants also developed project ideas for the use of artificial intelligence in legal activities and presented the first results of developed AI tools.
The program was implemented together with partners – Temidy and the European Anti-Counterfeiting Network REACT and partner universities – SWPS University, Riga Stradins University, New Bulgarian University and Wroclaw University. Blended intensive program was organized by the Mykolas Romeris University Law School.
