Throughout the first week of June, the Mykolas Romeris University (MRU) Public Security Academy is hosting a student startup festival as part of the HEI-TRAIN project – “Transformation of Higher Education Institutions for Entrepreneurship and Artificial Intelligence-Driven Innovations”.

This year’s festival was dedicated to artificial intelligence in entrepreneurship. Participants presented innovative startup ideas based on the use of artificial intelligence solutions for business development, digital services, education and social initiatives.

Six startup teams from Georgia participated, making the festival even more international, dynamic and full of new ideas.

The jury consisted of:

  • Jekaterina Polupanova, HEI-TRAIN project coordinator;
  • Prof. habil. dr. Žaneta Simanavičienė, head of the Sustainable Innovation Laboratory of Mykolas Romeris University;
  • Pavel Burakas is a project mentor from Priazov State Technical University.

During the festival, participants worked on entrepreneurial solutions using artificial intelligence, discussed opportunities for international cooperation and received valuable advice from experts and mentors.

The event took place in an incredibly warm, creative and inspiring atmosphere. Young people demonstrated a high level of preparation, creativity and desire to create modern artificial intelligence solutions to solve current challenges. The festival once again confirmed that international cooperation, supporting innovation and developing entrepreneurial thinking open up new opportunities for students and universities.
