Project goal: The aim of the project is to improve the system for administering state-guaranteed legal aid to foreigners and to enhance the quality of legal services provided in the areas of migration and asylum.
The project focuses on developing systemic solutions that would enable more efficient organization of legal aid provision, reduce the administrative burden, and ensure smooth, transparent, and consistent management of legal aid processes.
Main project activities:
The project aims to develop an IT solution for the administration of state-guaranteed legal aid. This system will automate the registration and distribution of legal service requests, balance the workloads of legal service providers, ensure process traceability, and facilitate more effective administrative decision-making.
A specialized training program will be developed and improved to strengthen the competencies of legal service providers, i.e., attorneys working in the field of migration and asylum. The training will be aimed at strengthening the competencies necessary for providing state-guaranteed legal aid to foreigners, as well as ensuring the smooth implementation of the new administrative system in practice.
Project results:
- An IT solution for managing legal service orders has been developed and is now operational;
- A specialized training program has been developed;
- 50 legal service providers have been trained under the program.
The project is co-financed by the European Union and the Asylum, Migration, and Integration Fund (AMIF) for the period 2021–2027.
